Rescued, Hurricane Katrina dog Jake, helped co-pilot & plan Linda’s trip across country from Louisiana to Los Angeles with the other rescued LBWF Hurricane Katrina dogs!

Think ahead, plan, research and have a great time enjoying vacations with you and your WHOLE family , including your companion pets! I personally drove 27 Hurricane Katrina rescued Pit-bulls, in a motor home, safely across country and had NO PROBLEMS!! Hard for me the driver, yes, hard for them, no! They were SAVED!!! They rode along, we sang songs ( well I did ) and they played with their toys and received the medical care they needed, as we traveled across country.They were saved from the disaster, were provided good food in their starving bellies, fresh water, a good blanket and love!

Jake passed three years later of Cancer. I did everything I could for him and was with him through the end. He had become such an inspiration for me and was one of my best friends ever. Just a brown junk yard dog to some but for me, well, his spirit is part of the inspiration that keeps my spirit going to this day! I will always miss him but I see him in my hearts and minds eye everyday that I think of him!
