Dear Friends,

Giving Tuesday is here! We at LBWF know how many charities are asking for your help today and we cannot thank you enough for your consideration and support!

We in rescue are facing the biggest crisis of pet overpopulation in history. With people coming out of the pandemic, many are losing their homes, stray animals they took care of during the pandemic are now too costly for them to keep. Some are abandoning them to the shelters, the streets and deserts and the animals are forced to fend for themselves which is impossible. A majority of companion animals are not making it out of the shelters alive right now. We desperately need your help.

During the pandemic, it became exceedingly difficult to get veterinarian appointments and now many animal hospitals are increasing their fees for spaying and neutering, vaccinations, and clinic fees for sick animals. People cannot afford to treat their sick animals and sadly, due to these circumstances they feel they have no other choice but to turn them over to the shelters because they do not know what else to do. We are doing everything in our power to help those that cannot speak for themselves.

You may recently have seen Linda Blair ‘s performance on The Masked Singer. Linda chose to unmask right after her performance to use The Masked Singer as a platform to raise awareness of the crisis the rescues and shelters are in all across the Country. With a heavy heart, Linda’s was trying to get the word out through the press and the public that animals are dying needlessly right now just due to lack of space at the shelters. Her hope was to encourage people to get involved and help those that cannot speak for themselves!

The LBWF Rescue and Wellness center was created after Linda took the initiative to go down to Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina and help rescue the remaining animals. She returned with fifty-one dogs and LBWF Rescue, and Wellness center became an emergency center to help serve and care for the abandoned and rescued animals. They go through our wellness program, behavior, medical care and are giving a safe and loving place while they wait for their forever loving homes. Some dogs are never chosen for adoption by no fault of their own and they live out their lives and LBWF with love, fun and dignity!

We have several senior dogs that still have plenty of love to give and would love a home of their own but sadly some people will not adopt senior dogs so with Linda’s heart she cares for the sweet seniors through their aging process. Linda has created an incredibly special feeding program using grain free dog food, bot dry and canned, with no white potatoes. She uses digestive enzymes, turkey tail mushroom, salmon oil, coconut oil, olive leaf and several other special ingredients and herbs that keep them extremely happy and comfortable, all the way until they are ready to take their last breath. We are trying to get the word out on our k9 longevity program for the dogs. We collaborate with top veterinarians who have worked with Linda on this long 17-year test study.
Linda’s food program was created after her first Pitbull Sonny boy who followed her home, was later diagnosed with cancer, two years after moving onto the LBWF property. No veterinarian could help or define the cancer that riddled his body. Her work is personal and from the heart. She has dedicated her entire life to saving animals.

Now, more than ever, LBWF could really use your help. Due to this pet-overpopulation crisis we are doing everything we can to spread the awareness to the public. Due to the considerable number of animals, we care for including both young and old dogs, small and large, mother dogs and their puppies, the costs are very high. Our food bills alone are extraordinary. We also have medical care, routine vaccinations, electric bills, with winter coming we run heaters and use winter blankets. Our washers and dryers run all day long.
We are in need of donations for food, spay/neuter, routine medical care, treats, the list goes on and on. Your donations help us to continue saving lives and we could not do this important work without you. We have requested extra transport Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $5000. Every little bit helps, and we are so thankful and grateful for your support. Thank you for your compassion and thank you for loving these dogs.
vehicles. Volunteers are needed, but with your support and donations we can make sure everything is done to care for the rescue dogs and our feral cat colony.

We also know that some of you are struggling too, so if you’re not in the position to donate, you can also help by sharing our campaign with others you think might want to help. You could also volunteer in your communities, ask the shelters and rescues what you can do to help. Food and blankets donations are always needed. Fostering a companion animal in need is very important during this time in crisis.
we are incredibly grateful to you and with the deepest gratitude Linda Blair says thank you for your kindness and support for her Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation rescue dogs and feral cats.

Somehow, we always find a way to make it through for the benefit of those precious souls. Sometimes it almost seems impossible, and we look back and wonder how we got by. Then we quickly remember. our miracle is you!

Thank you for your continued support!
